Component, not curve
We model what the hardware IS, not what it does. The physics is the algorithm - every transistor, tube, transformer core, and capacitor simulated as itself.
Analog Realism is a small software studio building digital products the way a Swiss watchmaker builds precise movement. Just hardware-accurate audio software that you can keep and love for years.
Many analog modeling plugins use "black box" modeling: measure what hardware does, build a filter that copies the curve. The curve is right; the behaviour underneath is wrong. The EQ doesn't know the compressor exists. The transformer doesn't remember the bass note from a moment ago. The circuit isn't a circuit - it's a chain of approximations pretending to be one.
Analog Realism began with a different premise. Model the components themselves - every transistor, tube, transformer core, capacitor and inductor - wired in the real circuit topology. Let the sound emerge from the physics, not from a hand-tuned curve. When the compressor works hard, current draw rises and the shared power rail sags, shifting the operating point of every other stage. The transformer remembers its recent magnetization history. The inductors saturate differently. Fifteen mechanisms acting as one circuit - like real hardware would.
This is TrueRail. It's not just a marketing word.
Our catalogue is deliberately small. We would rather build one product that lasts for years than ten products that need patching every quarter. The plugin runs no analytics and never phones home. If we close tomorrow, your tools still work tomorrow.

Every release passes 2,000+ automated measurements across thirteen independent test suites. The raw data ships with the plugin and is public on this site.
The plugin never calls home. One web activation per machine and that's it - fully offline forever. The only data we hold is your email, name, serial, and machine ID - nothing more.
One-time purchase, yours forever. No subscriptions. If we close tomorrow, your tools still work tomorrow.
One product released only when it earns release. Made in Finland with patience. We would rather build one thing that lasts for years than ten that need patching every quarter.
