Activate your license
Paste here your serial key and the challenge code shown by the plugin's key icon popup. We then return a response code unique to that machine that sent the challege, which the plugin will accept.
Two operations on this page: Activate binds your serial to max 2 x machines at a time. Deactivate frees a machine so you can bind it to another one independently. The plugin never calls home, because privacy belongs to all of us. Activation can be done on any computer that is connected to the internet. We collect only what's required for authorization - your email, name, serial, and machine ID - and nothing else. No analytics, no telemetry, no user tracking.

Moving to a new machine? Enter your registration email and the removal challenge code shown by the plugin's key icon popup. The machine's reserved seat is then freed instantly. Remember to fill that response code into the plugin itself also.
Click the key icon, paste your serial, click Authorize. Sphinx derives a local machine fingerprint and prints a challenge code. Nothing is sent anywhere - the plugin itself never makes a network connection.
Paste your serial and that challenge code into the left field above on this page. The server returns a response code signed against your machine fingerprint and our master HMAC key. This is the only network step in the whole protocol, and reserves a license usage slot for that machine.
Paste that response code back into Sphinx → click Activate. The keyfile is then written locally and demo mode disabled.
Open Sphinx, click the key icon, click Deauthorize. The plugin generates a local removal challenge code - same offline-handshake design as the activation challenge, no network contact from the plugin.
Paste your registration email and that removal challenge code into the right field above on this page. The server frees your seat and returns a signed response code.
Paste that removal response code back into Sphinx → click Confirm removal. The plugin verifies the signature locally and deletes the keyfile.
