Privacy Policy.

The Sphinx 101 plugin runs fully offline after activation — no telemetry, no phone-home. The website uses Google Analytics and Meta Pixel for anonymous visitor analytics — both consent-gated. Your purchase and activation data stays here, on EU servers.

01 / Data controller

Who is responsible for your data.

01 — Data controller

Analog Realism (“we”, “our”) is the data controller for the personal data described below. Contact:

02 — Data we collect

When you purchase Sphinx 101 we collect: your name and email address (provided during purchase via our payment processor), the serial key assigned to you, your machine activation hash (a one-way hash of your system identifier — we cannot determine your hardware details from this hash), and activation/deactivation timestamps.

02 / What we don't collect

The plugin never calls home.

03 — Data we do NOT collect

No telemetry or usage data from the plugin. No audio content or project data. No personal data beyond what is listed in section 02. The website's anonymous visitor analytics (Google Analytics and Meta Pixel) is disclosed separately in section 09.

04 — How we use your data

To fulfill your purchase and deliver your serial key. To manage license activations and seat limits. To provide customer support. To send important product updates such as security patches and compatibility fixes.

03 / Payments & storage

Who processes your payment, where your data lives.

05 — Payment processing

Payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our authorized reseller. Paddle collects payment information directly — we never see or store your credit card details. Paddle's privacy policy applies to payment data: paddle.com/legal/privacy.

06 — Data storage & security

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Serial keys and activation records are stored in encrypted databases accessible only to authorized systems.

04 / Retention & your rights

You stay in control of your data.

07 — Data retention

We retain your purchase and activation data for the lifetime of your license, plus applicable legal retention periods. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting .

08 — Your rights (GDPR)

Under EU and Finnish data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your data (“right to be forgotten”), export your data in a portable format, object to data processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email .

09 — Cookies & website analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (property G-KEJYCHHPFR) to understand which pages visitors find useful. GA4 sets two first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_KEJYCHHPFR) and records anonymous page-view data — URL, referrer, country/region (derived from IP, not stored long-term by Google), device type, and browser. GA fires on every public page, including the activation and purchase-confirmation pages, but only as a page-view: the activation / deactivation API calls themselves and your purchase details are not sent to Google. Your serial number, machine hash, and payment information never reach Google.

We also use the Meta Pixel (pixel ID 4572938286276251) for anonymous visitor analytics and advertising measurement. The pixel loads only after you accept cookies — the loader script is gated behind the same consent check as Google Analytics, so it never fires before explicit acceptance and never fires if you decline. It may set the _fbp first-party cookie and reads page URL, referrer, and standard browser headers. The same exclusions apply as for Google: your serial number, machine hash, and payment details never reach Meta. No advertising cookies, no remarketing pixels, no cross-site tracking. The Sphinx 101 plugin itself contains no analytics, no telemetry, and never connects to the internet after activation.

10 — Third parties

We share data with only the minimum third parties needed to operate the business: Paddle (paddle.com — payment processing, as described in section 05), Google (policies.google.com/privacy — anonymous website analytics only, as described in section 09), and Meta (facebook.com/policy.php — anonymous website analytics only, consent-gated, as described in section 09). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone else, except where required by Finnish or EU law.

11 — Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
